Chicken Spaghetti

Note: This is my moms recipe. I added the baking soda, as you will notice I do this to any recipe that has any tomatoes in it. The baking soda removes the acid for prevention of heart burn.

1 chicken, cut up
1 Tbsp. flour
1 6oz. Can tomato paste
1 15 oz. can whole tomatoes
½ celery stalk, chopped
¼ cup green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
½ tsp. baking soda

Fry the chicken pieces in a small amount of all until all sides are brown. Put in a bowl. Put flour and onions in drippings and brown. Add tomato paste, whole tomatoes, celery, green peppers and baking soda. Stir and smash up the whole tomatoes. Put chicken bake in the pot and let cook slowly about 2 hours. Serve over spaghetti
